COVID-19 RULES FOR EBHC 2022 IN CONFOLENS, FACTUAL STATUS FOR 25/01/22

Dear Archers,

In response to your enquiries regarding the COVID-19 rules applicable to participants of the championships, our International Representative Lynn Ellingworth sought information from the organisers.

Please be aware that the rules are subject to change and as Lynn stressed: “all information is the CURRENT conditions for the application of the law in France, as if EBHC was taking place today (25-Jan-22). Come June, these rules are likely to have changed but, hopefully, there with fewer restrictions by the time EBHC starts.

1- To enter French territory:

Present a complete vaccination schedule for people over 12 who come from the EU, Switzerland, Andorra, San Marino.

For people from the United Kingdom, a negative PCR test of less than 24 hours is required, including vaccinated people.

These measures for entering French territory are set to change when the pandemic subsides.

2 – On the place of the EBHC competition: Still under the conditions on January 24, which are subject to change over the weeks, we are obliged to ask each participant for a “Vaccinal Pass”. (I think we will ask for it only once for each archer and each accompanying person, giving them a specific bracelet to keep for the duration of the event).

The Vaccinal Pass in France is:

– A vaccination certificate attesting to a complete vaccination schedule, booster dose included in the time limit for people from 18 years and 1 month who are eligible for it.

– A Covid-19 recovery certificate dating back at least 11 days and less than 6 months.
