How the competition works

The competition will have two rounds of judging from which a total of 36 organisations will go forward to the national final. This will culminate at an awards luncheon in the Mansion House, Dublin on Saturday 27th March 2021 (in strict adherence to Government health guidelines with regard to COVID-19) where seven of these projects will win a €10,000 cash prize for each category.

The winning does not stop there as one of those winners will go on to be crowned as National Lottery Good Cause of the Year and win an additional cash prize of €25,000 to be re-invested in the important work that the project does within their community.
